Setting up an appointment

You can contact me by phone or email to set up a time for a brief (and free) phone consultation to decide if my practice is right for you.

Afterwards, we can set up an appointment for an initial evaluation, which typically lasts between an hour to an hour and a half. Prior to your appointment, I will send you my “New Patient Packet” to fill out and bring with you to your first appointment.

Your first session will be a comprehensive assessment, reviewing your presenting problems, life history, and any medical or psychiatric issues you may have had before. After the evaluation, we will arrange a treatment plan that may or may not include medications. For patients who are already seeing another therapist or psychiatrist, I can work collaboratively to help with medications or to provide a consultation or second opinion.

I do not participate in any standard insurance panels, but can provide invoices for you to submit to your insurance for out-of-network benefits. Payment is accepted by cash, check, or credit.

Cancellation policy

I ask that you cancel appointments at least 48 hours ahead of time, and reserve the right to charge a full session’s fee for cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead of time.
